Kiboga district has a total of 21 functional health facilities as detailed below:
1.District Hospital - 01
2.Health Centre IV - 01
3.Health Centre III - 05
4.Health Centre II - 15
Of these, 5 (five) are private Non Government health units which are supported by government in terms of funding.
The sector continues to strengthen primary health care services through an integrated support system for improved service delivery. Emphasis was placed on immunization, Reproductive health and prevention/control of epidemics and sensitization of communities on health issues.
1. Immunization coverage has since 2003/04 improved from 71% to 84% to date i.e. for DPT 3.
2. TB detection rate is at 49%
3. Malarial treatment within 24hrs is 80% for all children under 5 years.
4. 7 testing and counseling centers have been established.
5. About 150 patients are on ARV therapy at 3 treatment centers i.e. Kiboga hospital and 1 HC IV's.
